England's so-called national customs have little emotional hold on you. You're aware of your roots but you're happy to take on board the best of other cultures.
Mine is: The epitome of Middle England, you prefer your Hovis to ciabatta and believe that England can win the cup this time round. You still feel frequent stirrings of patriotism, but deep down you know the world has moved on from the Empire and warm beer on village greens.

But still consider that this might be an overstatement... I don't even think the word patriotism is in my vocabulary
I get the same as Bondbloke too... Bondwoman: I'm shocked!
Anyway, I'm off to be a diligent European taking the concours tomorrow, so I'll need to know not only cibatta but also the EU's total financing support for the beetroot industry. Yippee!

Same as Bondbloke
Odd really, as I am famous in my own lunchbox for preferring ciabatta to Hovis...
Anonymous - are you the same anonymous who keeps posting (nicely?)
Ah, well, I always knew BW was somewhat staid in her ways, and famous for liking her lunchbox...
BW - Yes, I have posted here before...
and ciabatta beats Hovis every time (at least in my opinion).
Anon: you're so much nicer than BB.
BW - Thanks :)
...although hadn't you better be careful, otherwise BB will threaten strike action again?
...Then who will make your lunchbox?
Me. As I always do.
You said a mouthful there anon, but to be fair BW does repare her own lunchbox - i wouldn't be able to cope with the stinky salami that she likes...
BB - fair point. I think I might opt out of that one too!

I know, I'm intrinsically shocking, Jon. No seriously, good luck with "le concours". I'm so glad I never did it, or needed to do it.
